Writing is both a skill and interest of Frank Learner - the principal of Greengage Associates, and so writing is therefore a complementary service offered by Greengage Associates:

• Delivery of accurate text to the required style, length and format.
• Examples range from letters on complex issues to high-level policy papers.

Frank Learner is a published author and has been the editor of house magazines that were important public relations and staff communication tools. Recent published work includes articles in Governance magazine - a leading journal for charity trustees, Charity Comms - the website on charity communication and Officer Magazine.

Levels of Service

Greengage Associates offers 3 levels of writing service to improve your organisation’s impact:

• Proof-reading - highlighting mistakes and inconsistencies in a document (web or print) that spoil the message that the document seeks to deliver.
• Copy editing - correcting and improving the document to effectively deliver the author’s message.
• Drafting - assisting your organisation when the person with an idea does not have the time and/or writing ability to express the idea effectively.

Greengage Associates can draft:

• Letters, reports, papers and web content.
• Articles (up to 1000 words) explaining an organisation’s purpose/direction.

Organisations will benefit from combining Greengage Associates' writing services in conjunction with financial management and/or governance work.

• A better document means enhanced impact and reduced compliance risk.
• For charities, this especially applies to the Trustees’ Annual Report that accompanies the financial statements; this report must not only be effective, but also consistent and compliant.
